    great collection

I have a few wind watches and a fairly nice pocket watch but I’ve been spoiled by my solar powered atomic time keeping digital watch with a compass barometer altimeter and thermometer built in, casio paw1500gb-1

Reminds me of the beginning of “Time” by Pink Floyd with all of the different clocks sounding off. Either that or Pinocchio.

Hi can you tell me how to wind a “NAIL SET” watch. I recently bought a very old watch that was converted into a wristwatch but I am not sure how to set this vintage watch.

If you could help it be wonderful. Perhaps even make a short video as you have great collection. Thank you very much?

Great video! I’ve aways liked the ticking of a pocket watch, and they’re very classy. Thanks for sharing!

These videos are amazing. I used to search through unboxing videos hoping to find people with relaxing voices and shit. I had no idea people were manufacturing videos that would give me the same response. Thank you so, so much!

I have say, despite many people saying victorian era is outdated, it still is beautiful, espcially their machines from back then. I can see why Steampunk is so popular.

Where can i get one of these this is smart thinking back then they wound it up and it was a unlimited time teller now the dumass that thought about putting a battery in it would be cool now people every there battery dies and they dont know what time it is plus the little batteries these pocket watches take now are $5 to $10 thats alot THUMBS UP IF IM RIGHT WIND UPS ARE BETTER THAN BATTERY!!!!!!!! :D

@TheNoobTraper You can get them from lots of places but if you’re looking for secondhand there are lots on ebay. It is a great invention, to wind, but they are very susceptible to inaccuracy. I think of them more as pieces of art. So many things can go wrong and the money you will spend to maintain such watches will be far, far more expensive than a lifetime with a battery watch. For art, I love these. For time keeping, there are better solutions.

@TheNoobTraper I should also add that battery watches are the most accurate time keepers in the world. A battery should last a few years. Compare that to a wind-up watch… you will lose time every day. Sometimes it may be just a few seconds. Other watches may be a minute or so out every day. Over a little while this mounts up until you have to fix it by correcting the time; by going back to set it to a reliable clock time (ie. battery!).

I really love your vintage Omega pocket watch! I just bought a beautiful vintage Omega Seamaster DeVille wrist watch from 1969.
Where did you bought your Omega pocket watch? Do you know any webside where I can buy these pocket watches?
    Thank you!
