Blixtens Snoa on Swiss Made Hohner Corso GC

This is a really fun melody to play on diatonic accordion. It is written by Per-Thomas Eriksson (originally for violin). Snoa is a kind of two-step dance. © Per-Thomas Eriksson. All rights reserved ncb/STIM

There are many in Scandinavia that play much better than me. I think I just happen to have the right equipment to show up on youtube. Glad to hear that you started up again. Kung Fu rules.

I wish Mexican conjunto accordionists could take the time to learn the instrument that well. You’re great !

No. I converted from chromatic 5 row system to diatonic 2 row with 2 halftones ab 25 years ago. My fingers like to have it that way. It is very very hard to get used to two different systems at the same time and will use about two times more practicing so I think I’ll stay with this. If I’d just wnanted to be able to play just anything I should go back to the chromatic world or a piano, but I kind of like the sport it is this way.

The title is “Blixtens snoa”. Blixten is the person who it is made for and snoa is the dance type.

Absolutely excellent!!! I am a fiddle player and love this tune so much that have learned it from your video. I now play it in D and G major. Are these the original key signatures?
