Aquaswiss is not a Swiss company, which should give you a bit of a clue about the company since it clearly purports to be Swiss. Personally, I think these watches are just expensive bling with little likelihood of retaining their value, providing good long-term service or impressing anybody who knows good watches. You can’t go much wrong buying a genuine Swiss (mechanical) watch though – it will say Swiss Made on the dial. Make sure you buy it from a reputable dealer as the phony watches don’t last long and are almost impossible to repair. There are some excellent Swiss brands with fine timepieces for only a couple of hundred dollars or so. Alternatively there are some excellent quartz watches such as Seiko from Japan which I would recommend if you don’t want a mechanical watch.
