Electric Skein Winder
This is the electric skein winder I got from Crazy Monkey Creations. It is the 1 1/2 yard, 3-at-a-time model. I am using it to wind 420-meter skeins of sock yarn from three cones. I have a bicycle odometer attached to my skein winder to measure how many times the winder rotates, which is automatically converted to kilometers. You can see on the shot of the odometer that the winder is moving at 9.5 kmph and I have wound 300 meters so far.
