It’s nice to see left handed stuff on here.. It’s awkward trying to have a right handed person teach you things, haha. And I love this hat. I’m turning it into christmas presents for my cousins. :-)

Stupid question, do I crochet one before I start Row 2? or just go into it? I hope that makes sense.

@rhia013 You will have a chain that is joined, then start the first round.

Thank you for your left-handed videos! I’m learning how to crochet and they have been very helpful. What is the best way to make this hat larger (XL)? I want to make one for my son, but he has a large head (24″ circumference) and I don’t think it will be big enough. Is it better to crochet more SC rows or should I add an additional increase row after Row 6?

@llrushing The easiest way to make a cap larger is to use a larger crochet hook. If that is not enough, you can work more increase rounds with increase stitches. You will evenly work 2 single crochet in the same stitch around. It may not be a lot of increases. You continue until the crown of the cap gets larger around.
