Omega Speedmaster Professional Sapphire Sandwich
www.breitlingsource.com – This is a video review of my Sapphire Sandwich Speedy Pro from Omega. Manual winding swiss made Omega Speedmaster with sapphire exhibition back as well as curved sapphire crystal on the front.
They should do a Club Sandwich with a sapphire covering over the tachy bezel as well- they always end up so sorry looking.
awesome watch and review. what is the model number? this is the exact watch i’m looking to pick up.
@breitlingsource haha, Yeah I did mean the Hour Vision. The size and in-house were what I find great about it.
how does the accuracy of a manual wind compare to a self winding movement? ie… how much deviations does this speedmaster get say per day(ave) and the total deviation for 15 days?
Nice!
One of my favorite watches!!!!!
Very insightful. Thanks. I’m thinking of buying this, but whats it like living with a manual movement everyday?
How many b/ph does that movement make?
WOAHH!!!! WickED!!!
me personally wouldnt buy a watch that isnt at least 100 meters waterproof!
You finally succummed to the gravitational pull of the speedy pro hey, it was inevitable
I’ve been waiting ages for you to show this one. Do you still prefer your Schumacher? I must admit, that one is very very nice.
See through back?!
Sapphire Crystal?!
A legend gets garbled …
A piece of trivia:
Omega actually had to change the text on the casebacks a few years ago because it turned out that the Speedmaster isn’t the only watch ever worn on the moon.
@1000lightyrs The Schumacher gets more looks, but the Speedy Pro is the Purists Choice… of course the Hesalite is the pure purists choice.
@tomcat561 21600 vph
@sooot175 3573.50.00
do you know any skeleton (see through) watch, a good brand, around 200 bucks
Very nice review. stunning watch.
Very nice watch.
The true moonwatch is the 3570 with the hesalite. Otherwise it aint a Moonwatch, period. Why pay over $500 extra for a different crystal, just pay less and get the real deal.
@mogando25 The great thing about the 8500 and 8501 co-axials is the silicon hairspring; the wear is so negligible on the parts that it only needs servicing every 8-10 years so it will be even more reliable than previous Co-axial models. Kudos to George Daniel for the invention.
Bought the same with a steel bracelet just before the big price increase of this year. Everybody loves this watch of course… And in my opinion, for a long time it was undervalued in terms of price. It’s one of the few watches that still uses a mechanical chronograph movement instead of an automatic.
Great watch!
what size wrist do you have? do you think the croc strap is a viable option for someone with a 6 3/4″ wrist?
@J03L01289 My wrist size is also 6.75″
There’s ‘ma grail!
