RE: Scottish Parliament Building – a hideous monstrosity that is totally out of character with the rest of the buildings around it. I’m sure they could have found an architect who could have designed something more fitting for the city. Of course this is just my own personal opinion and there may be many who like it but I just think it’s horrible.
@LaFarfalla246 The design is certainly controversial, however many people said the same thing of the Sydney Opera House.
If we want to do something unique, we need to take a chance. Only history will judge whether or not it is a success.
Personally, I think the Scottish Parliament Building is fantastic! I do not think it detracts from its surroundings at all.
