Should I Go See a Duke University Basketball Game This Year or Next Year? (Mens Basketball)?

My dad and I are huge duke basketball fans and are looking to buy some tickets to go watch our favorite team at Cameron which is very expensive, so this may be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. So with the roster, and who will be stepping up next year, i dont know whether we should go this year or the next. Please help!

If either you or your dad is a Duke alumni then you might be able to get student tickets this Thanksgiving. I know that we got student tickets for a fair amount of money for a Duke – Davidson game two or three Thanksgivings ago. The real magic at Cameron happens in the student section, so if you do get tickets that is where you’ll want to be. You could try buying the tickets from a student, but I know that my dad got an e-mail offering the tickets. If you are able to get student tickets, the seating is first come first serve. I’d get there early and you’ll get a good seat. We were mid-court, second row, and the experience was unbelievable. There are no fans like the Cameron Crazies.

If it was me, I’d go next year based on their roster. The number 2, 10, and 20 recruits in the nation already committed to Duke for next year. The Plumlee brothers will probably be playing next year. Also, Seth Curry will be playing after his mandatory year-off due to him transferring to Duke from Liberty. Of course, if you want to see Jon Scheyer or Brian Zoubek, then you are going to want to go to a game this year. Zoubek is huge even though he doesn’t do much. Scheyer is one of the hardest working players I’ve ever seen. Both of these players were cool to see in person.
