Wrist Watch Review: Part 3 – Citizen Eco-Drive Perpetual Calendar WR 100 – Calibre 8700
This is a review of the wrist watches I have collected over the years. I go into some details about why I decided to buy them and explain a little about their operation and movements. Seiko Chronograph Water Resistant 200m – 7T32-6R28 Seiko Kinetic (SCUBA) Diver’s 200m wrist watch – 5M62 movement Seiko Automatic (SCUBA) Diver’s 200m wrist watch – 7S26 Seiko Automatic (SCUBA) Diver’s 200m wrist watch – 4R15 Seiko Map Meter / Mile Marker Perpetual Calendar 200M – 8F56 Casio G-Shock GW-2500B Casio WS-300 Citizen Eco-Drive Perpetual Calendar WR 100 – Calibre 8700 Citizen Eco-Drive WR 200 Radio controlled / atomic clock
Had exactly the same problem here in the UK. Took £180+ Seiko to a watchmaker for a new battery, and about a week later the face steamed up indicating a leaking seal
I ended up buying a new Casio Edifice (EQW-M1000DB) which saves any battery changing issues as this watch is solar powered and radio controlled. So no need for dodgy jewellers anymore
